Phoenix Native Miah Blake Co-Starring in BET Movie “TWICE BITTEN”

Phoenix native Miah Blake is co-starring with LisaRaye McCoy and Kevin A. Walton in her TV debut TWICE BITTEN which premiered on BET on Tuesday, September 7.

McCoy stars in this whodunit about a sexy conman targeting his next mark, for his latest swindle. His routine scam hits a snag when suspicion mounts and the scheme spirals into desperation, betrayal, and murder.

Twice Bitten also stars Shanica Knowles, Dorian Gregory and Ledisi.

Born in Phoenix, Miah Blake (also known as Alt R&B artist BLVKE), graduated from North High School and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy & College Conservatory for the Performing Arts – Los Angeles with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

At a young age, BLVKE became fascinated with dancing and performing so much that tossing her teddy bear around the living room as she mimicked Janet Jackson’s “IF” choreography would kick off her big move.

At age 18, BLVKE moved to LA to pursue her career as a singer/dancer and found a passion for acting along the way. Later, she landed her first principal role in ABC’s The Little Mermaid Musical Live featuring Queen Latifah and John Stamos. Follow her journey as she continues to reach great heights!
