Phoenix Film Festival to Spotlight African American Films on March 27 – April 6
The Phoenix Film Festival returns March 27 – April 6 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Over the past two decades, the Phoenix Film Festival has been a stage for thousands of aspiring filmmakers, debuting over 150 films annually. This year, the festival is continuing to spotlight diverse stories and storytellers including a fantastic lineup of African American films!

SOME KIND OF JUSTICE
Gerald Owens’ world is devastated after the senseless murder of his only child, Jefferson. With no willing witnesses, and police having no clues, Gerald teams up with the surviving father of another murder victim, and together they set out to get “Some Kind of Justice!”

SWAMP DOGG GETS HIS POOL PAINTED

Together, they navigate the tumultuous waves of the music industry and forge a wonderfully bizarre and inspiring path across time and space.
