The NEW PhxSoul.com Is Here!
In August 2006, PhxSoul.com was created to keep Arizonans and people throughout the world informed about the vibrant African American culture in the Phoenix area.
This Website quickly became recognized as one of the top places to go for African American news and nightlife events in the Valley of the Sun.
PhxSoul.com has enjoyed a great run but in early 2014, I decided to hire a small Web design/development firm – AlexanderPersky.com – to upgrade the Website. After a few months of strategizing, coding, streamlining and sweating …
We’re excited to announce that the redesigned version of PhxSoul.com launched on June 5!
Since the Phoenix area will be hosting several high-profile events including the WNBA All-Star game, the NFL Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl, I knew that PhxSoul.com had to become more user friendly and it had to be redesigned. People from all over the world will be traveling to Phoenix and the African American community needs a Website that will represent us in an impressive fashion.
The new PhxSoul.com Website will be much easier to navigate. Moreover, the Website will list upcoming events in order of occurrence, photos and videos will be prominently displayed, a news rotator will be displayed on the home page and it will contain one comprehensive calendar that lists community and nightlife events.
Thank You to Our Supporters!
PhxSoul.com hosted a crowdfunding campaign to help raise money for the costs of rebuilding the Website.
We were excited to see that some folks stepped up to the plate for us!
We’d like to show our appreciation to the following people for their contributions:
- Sarah Simpson
- Dorian Waynewood
- Terry Love
- Stan Ogwel
- and those who wish to remain anonymous.
Of course we want to thank Alexander Persky for his tireless work on the Website redesign! Outstanding job! We encourage anyone to hire him if you need a personal or business Website.
