Calling All Tempe & Chandler Barbers and Stylists!

Join the movement to support mental health and make a difference in your community. The cities of Tempe and Chandler, in partnership with Downtown Tempe Authority, are offering a FREE training for barbers and stylists to become mental health advocates as part of the national Beyond the Shop initiative.

Barbers and stylists are already trusted confidants for their clients. With this training, you’ll gain tools to:

✅ Create a safe space for meaningful, stigma-free conversations

✅ Connect clients with life-changing mental health resources

✅ Join a nationwide network of professionals empowering their communities
