The Arizona Democracy Resilience Network and Mormon Women for Ethical Government Arizona invite you to celebrate everyday Arizonans who strengthen civic life in our state. The Civic Champion Dinner honors six individuals and organizations working to build trust and reduce political divides in Arizona communities. The Civic Champion Award recipients include:
- Nonprofit Impact Award: Courtney Osterfelt, founder of The Launch Pad, created an inclusive youth-driven space in Prescott.
- Business Leadership Award: John Fees and Adam Goodman champion election integrity through Leadership Now Arizona.
- Unsung Hero Award: Susan Bustamante ensures accurate vote counting through a decade of election work in Pinal County.
- Civic Innovator Award: Carlos Alfaro creates spaces for rational policy discussions through Arizona Talks Foundation.
- Faith in Action Award: Dr. Warren H. Stewart led the movement to establish Arizona’s Martin Luther King Day.
- Community Media Award: Ilana Ruber Lowery expands media literacy programs across Arizona through Common Sense Media.
