BIPOC Arts Cohort 4 Accepting Applications – Deadline is December 27
The BIPOC Arts Program at the Phoenix Center for the Arts, in partnership with the Goodyear Arts & Culture Commission, is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 4th cohort of the BIPOC Arts program in Goodyear. Classes will be held in person and virtually. This transformative initiative is designed to support and develop the skills of emerging artists, with a focus on equity, creative aging, and youth arts.
The BIPOC Arts program provides participants with a 10-week curriculum that includes weekly sessions on teaching artistry, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities for hands-on learning. Upon completion, participants will receive a stipend and be placed in paid positions to implement the skills they’ve gained in real-world settings. The program is open to all artists, regardless of ethnicity, and encourages applications from individuals passionate about teaching and community engagement.
