Phi Delta Kappa Education Sorority to Host Christmas in July Scholarship Fundraiser in Scottsdale on July 27
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. (NSPDK, INC.) is a professional sorority of predominately African American educators and the local Zeta Theta chapter plans to host its Christmas in July fundraiser on Saturday, July 27 at the beautiful Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale.
This event aims to raise funds to support Phi Delta Kappa’s scholarships and programs.
NSPDK, INC. awards a $6,000 scholarship to a male and a female graduating senior in each of the five regions (East, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and Far West). Annually, the Sorority presents over $100,000 in scholarships inclusive of those awarded by regions and chapters, including Kappa Omicron Tau (collegiate chapters) members may apply for a $1,000 and sorority members matriculating in an accredited doctoral program are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship awarded by the Perpetual Scholarship Foundation.
In addition to the fundraiser, the Zeta Theta chapter will be acknowledging and awarding deserving teachers from the Phoenix metropolitan area schools.
