Vice Presidential Hopeful Kamala Harris Makes Campaign Stops in Tucson, Phoenix
In an effort to connect with Arizona voters just before the 2020 General Election, Democratic Vice President candidate Kamala Harris visited with Tucson and Phoenix-area residents on October 28.
Harris hosted an outdoor rally at Pima Community College West in Tucson where approximately 100 cars were parked.
Unlike their Republican opponent, Donald Trump, it appears that Joe Biden and Harris are opting to campaign at smaller drive-in rallies and private indoor gatherings throughout the country.
After her Tucson stop, Harris flew to Phoenix to meet with dozens of Black religious, political and community leaders at The Van Buren in downtown Phoenix.
Harris answered a variety of questions from the audience about COVID-19, the economy, education and police reform.
After approximately 30 minutes, Harris was whisked away to her final event of the day – a drive-thru rally in the parking lot at ASU Baseball Stadium in Tempe with Grammy award-winning Alicia Keys, who owns a home in the Valley of the Sun.
